Pricing soaps, answered

How much should I charge for handmade soap?

Typical cold-process bars with ~$2 in materials sell for $7–$12. Per-bar labor looks tiny (a batch makes many bars), but count cure-time handling, cutting, and wrapping — then price for a 50%+ margin after fees.

How do I cost one bar from a batch?

Divide the whole batch's materials by the number of bars it yields, and divide the batch's hands-on minutes the same way. (Inventory software does this per-batch math automatically.)
