How much should I charge for a handmade cutting board?
Edge-grain boards commonly retail $45–$90, end-grain well above that. Lumber prices swing, so re-check your material cost per board often — and remember blades, glue, and sandpaper are real per-piece costs.
Do I price in tool wear?
Add a small shop-overhead line (many use 10–15% of materials) to cover blades, bits, and machine wear — or a per-hour shop rate on top of your labor rate.
