Built around how sticker makers actually work

  1. 1

Vinyl by the roll, sold by the sticker

A 150 ft roll becomes hundreds of stickers across a dozen designs. Hivara tracks the roll in feet and each design's cut in inches, so you always know the cost per sticker and how many feet are actually left.

  2. 2

Matte, glossy, holo — each finish is its own item

The same design in three finishes and three sizes is nine different products with nine different costs. Variations keep every combination tracked and priced without creating a mess of separate listings.

  3. 3

Ink and laminate are invisible costs

Per-print ink and laminate feel free until you total a year of them. Put consumables in the recipe and your per-sticker cost is real — including the parts you never used to count.

  4. 4

    Die-cut waste is real

Weeding and edge waste mean a sheet never yields what the math says. Build a waste allowance into each product so pricing reflects what a design actually consumes.

What a holographic logo sticker (3 in) really costs

This is the math Hivara does for every product you make — every line from a real bill of materials, updated whenever a supplier price changes.

Singles carry the margin that pays for pack discounts — Hivara shows both so a 5-pack price is still profitable.

A day in Hivara, for sticker makers

Step 1

Set up rolls as materials

Vinyl, laminate and transfer tape tracked by the foot — received by the roll, used by the design.

Step 2

Build each design as a product

Every size and finish is a variation with its own material use, cost and price — singles and packs included.

Step 3

Log a print-and-cut run

A 200-sticker run draws down vinyl, laminate and ink, and adds finished stickers to sellable stock.

Step 4

Restock the fast movers

Low-stock alerts on your best-selling designs and core rolls mean no scramble before a market or a drop.

Questions sticker makers ask

How do I track vinyl roll inventory for a sticker business?

Track each roll as a material measured in feet. When you log a print run, Hivara deducts the footage that run used — including a waste allowance — so remaining stock reflects what's truly on the roll, not what the packaging said.

How much does it really cost to make a sticker?

Usually more than the vinyl alone: laminate, ink, backing, sleeves and waste typically double the naive number. A 3-inch holographic sticker often lands around $0.20–$0.35 in materials. Hivara totals your real recipe so the answer is yours, not an average.

How should I price sticker packs versus singles?

Price singles for strong margin, then let packs discount from a known cost. If a sticker costs $0.27 to make, a $4 single and a $12 five-pack are both healthy — and Hivara shows the margin on each so pack deals never dip below your floor.

Can I track matte, glossy and holographic finishes separately?

Yes — finish and size are variation axes, so each combination is its own tracked item with its own cost (holographic vinyl costs more than matte) and its own stock level.

Does Hivara work for sticker sheets and die-cut shapes?

Yes. A sheet is a product whose recipe uses more footage than a single die-cut; kiss-cut sheets, die-cut singles and bundles can all live side by side with accurate per-item costs.

Is Hivara good for a small Etsy sticker shop?

Yes — start free, cost your designs properly, and add batch production, alerts and multi-channel stock as you grow. Sticker sellers on Etsy especially benefit from knowing per-design margin after fees.
