Acceptable Use Policy

Effective June 16, 2026 · Operated by Crater Ink Studios LLC, doing business as Hivara.

1. Permitted use. You may use Hivara only for lawful business operations — inventory management, cost tracking, production management, reporting/analytics, and business organization/workflow — and only in accordance with applicable laws.

2. Prohibited activities.

  • Illegal activity: violating any law; fraud or deception; intellectual-property infringement.
  • Security violations: unauthorized access; circumventing security; probing, scanning, or testing without authorization; uploading malware.
  • Platform abuse: interfering with functionality or performance; excessive automated requests or scraping; reselling, duplicating, or exploiting the service; abusing APIs, integrations, or automation.
  • Harmful or abusive content: unlawful, threatening, defamatory, harassing, or abusive content; malicious files; impersonation.
  • Illegal or sexual content: child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or any sexual content involving a minor, is strictly prohibited — it will be removed immediately, reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or law enforcement, preserved as required by law, and result in immediate termination. Sexually explicit, adult, or obscene content is also not permitted on the platform.
  • Fraudulent billing: using stolen payment methods; abusing free trials or promotions; initiating fraudulent chargebacks.

3. User responsibility. Maintain account security; protect your credentials; ensure that content and data you upload comply with applicable law (including your responsibility for imported customer personal information under the Terms of Service and the Data Processing Addendum); and maintain your own backups.

4. Monitoring & enforcement. We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts for security threats, fraud, abuse, or repeated violations. Where we have a good-faith basis (safety, security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or support), we may access, review, and remove content; and we will report illegal content — including CSAM — to NCMEC and/or law enforcement and preserve it as required by law.

5. Reporting violations. Report suspected violations to contact@hivara.app.

6. Changes. We may update this policy; we will post updates with a revised effective date. Material changes are handled under the Terms of Service change mechanism.
